Our Adoption and Foster Care Programs

Our local Adoption and Foster Care Programs were established by our parent organization Northwest Resource Associates.

Northwest Adoption Exchange (NWAE)

The Northwest Adoption Exchange is a regional photo and profile gallery that spotlights waiting foster children in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Washington. We connect families from all over the United States with workers for our waiting children. We also coordinate local media recruitment, including Saturday’s Child newspaper columns and Wednesday’s Child television spots. www.nwae.org

Oregon Adoption Resource Exchange (OARE)

OARE features a photo and profile gallery of waiting foster children in the state of Oregon. A password-protected website, OARE is a contracted partnership between the Northwest Adoption Exchange (NWAE) and the State of Oregon’s Department of Human Services (DHS). Read more
